High Point Public Library Farmers Market

The High Point Public Library Farmers Market occurs every Saturday from 8:30am - 1 pm, April through October.  Growing High Point brings fresh produce sourced locally from our urban farms, for you to purchase! At the Famers Market you are able to use various forms of payment including cash. debit, credit, SNAP/EBT, and P.o.P. Club Tokens. Those purchasing with SNAP/EBT can "Double Your Bucks" at the Farmers Market. Children ages 4 - 12 can be signed up for the Power of Produce (P.o.P) program to receive three $1 tokens each week and can be used as a form of payment with select vendors. They also receive educational crafts focused on healthy foods.

Let’s Grow Gala

The Let’s Grow Gala is a benefit for Growing High Point, an organization dedicated to transforming under-resourced neighborhoods through community engagement, empowerment, and entrepreneurship. 

Local food is fresher, more nutritious, benefits the local economy, and tastes better! We invite you to taste the difference at the Let’s Grow Gala

Enjoy an expertly prepared meal of locally sourced foods accompanied by select wines and locally brewed beer. Seating is limited so please make your reservation early to ensure availability.

Washington Street Unity Festival

The Washington Street Community Association hosts a free yearly community festival to celebrate the history of Washington Street. Our festival features a variety of music and activities such as a local food fair and games and fun for individuals of all ages!

Soup, Cider, and Santa
Community Holiday Celebration

During the holiday season, Growing High Point does an annual community gathering of hosting a "Soup, Cider, and Santa" event! This event is for our team to connect with the community to share healthy and hardy soups for the winter prepared with some in-season produce and also to celebrate the holidays. We go to a few community locations and invite you to join us for when we come out! Santa comes out with us as well and is always available for pictures with families.
